Hi, I'm Amanda (she/her/hers) I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Kentucky, Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Indiana, an Integrative Mental Health Practitioner, and Trained in EMDR. In 2018 I graduated with a Master's of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Kentucky University.

I have worked with children, adolescents, and families in a variety of settings including: in-home, in-school programs, community mental health, psychiatric inpatient care, group private practice, and therapeutic foster care.

I offer individual and family therapy. I work with clients ages 5 to 65. Tele-health options are available for clients ages 16 +.

My approach to therapy

Specialties: Anxiety, Anger, depression, grief and loss, ADHD behavior management, Emotion regulation difficulties, life transitional stress, stress management, parent-child behavior management, assertive communication, relational and family issues, self-esteem issues, and trauma/PTSD.

Treatment Interventions: Art/creative-based, experiential-based, eye-movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR), nature-based, cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, solution-focused, and play-based. I am also currently pursuing training in adventure therapy.
