Great to meet you!

I am licensed in Pennsylvania with 15 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with coping with addictions, relationship issues, trauma and abuse, & intimacy related issues. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

My approach to therapy

My main approach to therapy is CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). The reason I value this approach so much is that I believe that all of our feelings come from our thinking and our thinking leads to our behavior or our reactions. I believe that it is impossible to maintain a particular feeling/behavior if we change thinking. Especially if that is where it all starts from.

What you can expect from me

All clients can expect a "get to know each other" for our fist session. I want to know about you and who you are. I want to learn about your struggles and what has and has not worked for you. In our first session, it is a preparation for what we can do to best help you become the best version of yourself that you have always wanted to be. In my graduate degree program, I was required to do this myself so that I could see what it was like. This was probably the most valuable thing I did in my upbringing towards my career. It allowed me to experience what you may experience in your first session.
