Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Amanda. I know how frustrating it can be when women’s concerns are dismissed or blamed on “just hormones.” That’s why I founded Mindful Women Psychiatry—to provide care that truly listens. I’m a dual board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of nursing experience. I treat anxiety, depression, mood changes, insomnia, and life transitions such as pregnancy, postpartum, and perimenopause.

I evaluate and treat ADHD using non-stimulant medication options, behavioral strategies, and collaborative care plans, with QbCheck testing available as part of the evaluation process.

GeneSight testing is offered for individuals who have tried multiple medications, experienced significant side effects, or are seeking a more personalized approach to treatment.

My approach to therapy

My approach blends medication with holistic strategies like nutrition, stress management, and lifestyle support, so you feel balanced, understood, and empowered at every stage of life.

What you can expect from me

In our first visit, we’ll spend about an hour talking about your history, lifestyle, and goals. I’ll listen closely, answer your questions, and work with you to create a personalized plan that may include medication, holistic strategies, or both.
