Dr. Amanda Staubitz

Hello, it’s so nice to meet you! My name is Amanda and I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. One of my main goals as a provider has always been to treat my patients in a wholistic manner. I provide a warm and safe atmosphere for patient’s to explore their strongest mental wellness. I worked as a Cardiothoracic intensive care nurse prior to my journey as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I always knew I wanted to help people in some capacity which led me to the art of nursing. Currently, I am working in Addiction Psychiatry in the in patient hospital setting focusing on rehab/detox and overall mental wellness of patients. I'm licensed and board certified in psychiatry in NY. I hold a Doctoral Degree in Nursing Practice specializing in Psychiatry from Hofstra University.

My love of Yoga and nature has been intertwined into my practice of psychiatry embedding aspects of mindfulness and wellness. I specialize in the treatment of Depression, Anxiety, PSTD, OCD and Addiction. Let me help you better align your goals creating a life of health, happiness and wellness!
