Hello and congratulations on your healing journey!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have the privilege of working in different settings such as hospice and community mental health. I have spent the better part of my career focusing on grief and loss, which is a shared experience that is universal. I strive to continuously improve my knowledge and since graduating in 2021 with a masters, I have worked in industries that have challenged me and made me a better practitioner.

It is always my goal for you to feel supported and informed about your diagnosis and treatment. I am here to challenge you and to be an unbiased source of information and encouragement. Some modalities that I like to utilize are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Therapy, however, I will also use other modalities that may be appropriate for you. I believe that you are the expert of your life, so I will work with you to tap into that strength to help you to move forward.

The first few sessions are all about education and gathering information, which also helps for us to expand on what your needs are at this moment. Like any good journey starts with a map, so will we in the form of a treatment plan that is based on the needs discussed previously. We will create goals that help you through the obstacles that you face and build up your skills as a way to help you feel empowered to tackle whatever life throws at you. You've got this!
