Great to meet you!

My Story

I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space for counseling and integrative wellness, helping clients develop practical tools to navigate life’s challenges and enhance their overall well-being. I work with adults and older adolescents (ages 16+) and use evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) within a Biblical worldview.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I hold a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies—specializing in Psychology, Speech Communication, and Criminal Justice—from the University of Texas at Tyler. My commitment to service and education led me to earn a second Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the same institution. In addition to counseling, I am a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional and can help identify nutritional and lifestyle factors that may be contributing to mental health concerns and overall wellness.

My approach to therapy

My work is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy within a Biblical worldview, so we'll look closely at the thoughts and patterns shaping how you feel and build practical tools you can start using right away. I also take a whole-person view and pay attention to how things like stress, attachment, and even nutrition affect your mood, your focus, and your relationships. We'll tend to what's happening in your mind and in your body, because the two are far more connected than we often realize.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is mostly about getting to know each other and what brought you in. You'll share what you're hoping to work on, and I'll ask questions to understand your story and what's been weighing on you. There's no pressure to have it all figured out. By the end, we'll have a sense of how we'd work together and a clear place to begin.
