Amanda Turner

Hi, I'm Amanda! I started my career 15 years ago in the social work field working with individuals with disabilities and foster families. I have always had a passion for helping others reach their full potential. That passion led me to earn a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling to work specifically with women who are trying to find wholeness and healing after trauma.

I believe that trust is the foundation of a collaborative therapeutic relationship. I take a person-centered and strengths-based approach with my clients. Together, we'll uncover your strengths and develop strategies and tools to foster growth and healing. I currently use several different evidence-based interventions. I have completed intensive trainings in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), DBT Prolonged Exposure for PTSD, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
