Your first therapy session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and the goals you'd like to achieve, if any.
Whether you're seeking support for anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, life transitions, Post-partum depression, couples therapy, or personal growth, our conversation will focus on understanding your unique experiences and needs.
I will ask questions about your personal history, current circumstances, and emotional well-being to gain a clearer picture of how I can best guide you. You're also welcome to ask questions about my approach to counseling, the therapy process, and what working together may look like moving forward.
The first session is not about having all the answers or sharing everything at once. Instead, it's a comfortable, collaborative space where we can begin exploring your concerns at a pace that feels right for you. By the end of our session, we'll discuss potential goals for therapy and determine the next steps that align with your needs and preferences.
My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, confident, and hopeful about the path ahead.
