Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with more than 20 years of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges and create meaningful, lasting change. Throughout my career, I have worked with adolescents, adults, families, and diverse populations in community mental health, healthcare, crisis intervention, and counseling settings.

I specialize in helping clients manage anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, trauma, grief, self-esteem challenges, and personal growth. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and solution-focused. I believe every person has strengths and resilience that can be leveraged to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.

My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to create positive change in their lives.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is a partnership built on trust, authenticity, and mutual respect. My approach is tailored to each client's unique needs, goals, and experiences. I draw from evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-informed techniques.

Together, we will explore patterns, identify obstacles, develop practical coping strategies, and build on your existing strengths. I focus on helping clients gain insight, increase emotional well-being, improve relationships, and develop the skills needed to navigate challenges with greater confidence.

Whether you are experiencing a difficult life transition, managing anxiety or depression, working through trauma, or seeking personal growth, I strive to create a therapeutic experience that is supportive, empowering, and goal-oriented.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my primary goal is to get to know you and understand what brings you to therapy. We will discuss your concerns, personal history, strengths, goals, and what you hope to achieve through counseling. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine whether I am a good fit for your needs.

I strive to create a welcoming, comfortable, and judgment-free environment where you can openly share your experiences. Together, we will begin identifying priorities and developing a plan that aligns with your goals. While every client's journey is unique, many people leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and more hopeful about the path forward.
