Great to meet you!

Hello :) I’m Amaris, and my work centers on helping women understand the “why” behind their emotions and behaviors so they can move through life with more clarity, confidence, and self‐trust. I have a background in trauma‐informed work with women who often feel responsible for everyone else’s wellbeing, minimize their own needs, or feel unseen in their relationships. I’m here to offer a nonjudgmental, grounded, emotionally safe space where you can feel seen, known, and understood. I provide a non‐religious environment that welcomes whatever belief system you do or don’t hold. I also value diversity and inclusion deeply, making this an LGBTQ+, Transgender, and BIPOC‐affirming space.

I’m passionate about supporting women who have spent years minimizing themselves, over‐functioning for others, or feeling unseen in their relationships.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, grounded, and collaborative. I don’t approach therapy as “fixing” or rescuing — I help you make sense of your emotions, reconnect with your needs, and build clarity and self‐trust. I integrate Trauma‐Focused CBT, Compassion‐Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Feminist Therapy to explore both present challenges and the deeper experiences that inform them. My work centers the unique expectations and pressures women face and supports you in creating more intentional, sustainable ways of being.

What you can expect from me

Your first session focuses on comfort, emotional safety, and getting to know your story. There’s no script — we explore your background, what’s bringing you in, and what you hope to gain from therapy. The goal is to understand your needs, determine whether we’re a good fit, and begin identifying the patterns or pressures you want support with. You can expect a grounded, nonjudgmental environment where you can be honest, supported, and understood.
