Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas who works with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative — I believe therapy should feel supportive and honest.

I often work with clients who are self-aware but feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves. Together, we focus on understanding patterns, building emotional regulation skills, and creating real, sustainable change. I’m not a “just vent and nod” therapist — I’ll gently challenge you when it’s helpful, while always moving at a pace that feels safe.

I incorporate evidence-based approaches, including trauma-informed therapy and EMDR, and tailor sessions to each client’s needs. Therapy with me is a space to slow down, get clear, and work toward feeling more grounded and connected in your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-informed and relational, with a balance of warmth, honesty, and gentle challenge. I work collaboratively with clients to understand patterns, build emotional regulation skills, and create sustainable change, moving at a pace that feels safe and respectful.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting a clear picture of what’s bringing you to therapy and what you’re hoping to get out of it. I’ll ask questions about what’s been feeling hard lately, relevant history, and any patterns you’ve noticed — but this isn’t an interrogation or a test. You’re always in control of what you share and at what pace.

My goal is to help you feel understood while also starting to make sense of things together. I tend to be warm, straightforward, and collaborative, so you can expect honest reflections and gentle guidance rather than just being nodded at. If something feels unclear or overwhelming, we slow down. You don’t need to have everything figured out before coming in. The first session is about creating safety, clarity, and direction — not pressure.
