Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed professional counselor who is passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel comfortable being themselves. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique needs, experiences, and goals. I value understanding and respecting different cultures, backgrounds, and life experiences, recognizing that these can shape how we view ourselves, our relationships, and the challenges we face. I have experience supporting clients through anxiety, stress, self-esteem, relationship and family concerns, life transitions, and emotional challenges, with the goal of helping each client develop healthy coping skills and feel more confident navigating life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered, warm, supportive, and collaborative. I believe every client is unique, and therapy should be a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. I work with clients to understand their individual experiences, cultural backgrounds, strengths, and goals while tailoring our work to what feels most helpful for them. I incorporate practical coping strategies and evidence-based techniques to support clients in managing anxiety and stress, building self-esteem, navigating relationships and life transitions, and developing a better understanding of their emotions.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, clients can expect a judgment-free environment where we begin getting to know one another and building a foundation of trust. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, what you would like support with, and the goals you hope to work toward. I’ll take time to learn about your experiences, strengths, cultural background, and what has shaped you, while making sure you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. By the end of the session, we will have a better understanding of where to begin and develop a plan for therapy that feels meaningful and manageable for you.
