Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Amber and thank you for visiting my profile! I have been a practicing clinician and therapist since 2009. I have a Bachelors in Sociology from Georgetown University and a Master's in Social Work from Radford University. My experience includes working with adolescents with behavioral issues, medical social work, and adults with emotional barriers and challenges coping with mental health.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is very simple: this is for you! I engage in motivational interviewing and am a solution-focused therapist whose goal is to ensure you are empowered and equipped to effectively manage whatever circumstances you are dealing with confidently and in a healthy manor.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be dedicated to building a therapeutic rapport, establishing the goals you have for treatment, and setting expectations that will best help me support you on your journey through therapy.
