Great to meet you!

A proud Colorado native, I found my path into therapy by observing fictional counselors who solved the puzzles of the human heart. Now, I help parents explore the mysterious, sometimes mythical parts of their own family stories. When I am not working, I enjoy diving into books, video games, or documentaries. I adore animals and know that a cup of coffee and a laugh can make the heaviest burdens just a little lighter. I have nearly a decade of experience working with high-needs youth and families in throughout the Denver Metro, providing dedicated support and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is eclectic and rooted in a systemic perspective. I view every individual as a collection of many elements—our internal world, our physical selves, our cultural identities, and the societal networks we inhabit. I utilize a variety of evidence-based approaches and techniques to respond to your individual needs. In our sessions, I champion the idea of a brave space over a safe one: our objective is not to dodge distress, but to confront it with guidance and empathy to facilitate genuine transformation. Much like the hunt for Bigfoot or the elusive Loch Ness Monster, we will explore the legendary mysteries of your inner life to illuminate what has long been hidden in the shadows.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, you can expect a mix of curiosity, humor, and straight talk. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to really get to know you, your story, and what brought you here, while also leaving room for us to laugh and breathe a little along the way. I’m warm and compassionate, but I’m also direct—I’ll be honest with you about what I notice and what might be getting in your way, and I’ll invite you to be honest with me too. By the end of our first meeting, you’ll have a clearer sense of how I work, what we might focus on together, and whether this feels like the right fit for you.
