Great to meet you!

Making the choice to start therapy is a powerful step toward reclaiming your narrative and finding balance. I have dedicated my practice to supporting women, adolescents, parents, and families as they navigate the complexities of life’s transitions. I specialize in providing culturally-sensitive, trauma-informed care that focuses deeply on how our earliest attachments shape who we are today. I feel privileged to help my clients achieve their goals and improve their lives by offering a space where their unique history is honored and understood.

I believe that the most effective therapy feels like a real human connection rather than a clinical transaction. I bring my full, authentic self to our work, and I encourage you to do the same. When I am not in the office, I find my own grounding by exploring local hiking trails and trying out new recipes in the kitchen. I want my clients to feel safe and empowered during their time with me, knowing they have a partner who is genuinely invested in their healing and long-term resilience.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, approachable, and direct, with a focus on helping you understand how your past experiences show up in your current patterns, while building skills that support growth and change. I value authenticity, transparency, compassion, humor, and accountability, and I bring those into the work we do together. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel both supported and gently challenged, and I’ll help you take small, realistic steps that actually carry into your daily life. Together, we work to notice and shift patterns that no longer feel helpful for you.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a relaxed, down-to-earth space where you don’t have to have everything figured out before you walk in. In our first session, we’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, explore goals you may already have, what you would like to see change and potentially identify areas you need support with. I’ll also answer any questions you have so you can get a feel for my approach and make sure it feels like a good fit. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and grounded in your next steps.
