Great to meet you!

I’m Amber Kramer, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Clinical Supervisor based in Irvine, California. I received my MA at Nation University, and received my training from the California Family Institute in Costa Mesa, CA. I have spent the past 6 years, 3 licensed, working with individuals, couples, and families navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, substance misuse, depression, and grief.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and compassionate. I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, respected, and understood. I often draw from Narrative Therapy, CBT, and Person-Centered Therapy, tailoring each session to meet the clients unique needs and goals.

I specialize in helping clients who are seeking greater clarity in their relationships, struggling with self-esteem, or processing difficult life experiences. I also enjoy supporting individuals who want to deepen self-understanding and create healthier patterns in both their personal and professional lives.

Whether clients are looking for support through a specific challenge or simply want a space to reflect and grow, my goal is to help folks feel more grounded, empowered, and connected in your everyday life.

What you can expect from me

Clients who work with me often walk away with a stronger sense of clarity, healthier coping tools, and greater confidence in navigating life’s challenges. Together, we uncover unhelpful patterns, build resilience, and strengthen their ability to communicate and connect in meaningful ways.

You can expect therapy with me to feel supportive, collaborative, and practical. My goal isn’t just to help folks process what’s happening in the moment—it’s to equip them with insights and strategies you can carry with you long after therapy ends.
