Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Amber McEntire, LCSW. I’m a licensed clinical social worker dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centered care for individuals ages 13 and up. I earned my Master of Social Work from Valdosta State University in 2018, and since then I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients through a wide range of life challenges.

My approach to therapy

I recognize the importance of trust between therapist and client, and I will work hard to build that foundation with you first. Each journey is unique, so you can expect me to use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered principles tailored to your therapeutic path.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we'll go over the therapeutic alliance, confidentiality, and what to expect. I'll want to learn why you decided to seek therapy, your experience with it, and what goals you have for our work together.
