Amber Miura

I am an LPC in Colorado. I have my M.A. in Clinical Counseling from Denver Seminary. My undergraduate studies were in Psychology from CU Denver and Psychopathology: Interventions and Treatment from MSU Denver. I have a passion for working with women through their journey in motherhood, step-motherhood, divorce, pregnancy, postpartum, and infertility. I also work with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, self-harm, grief and loss, chronic illness, and trauma.

I believe that counseling is a sacred space shared between the therapist and client and I strive to create a comfortable, non-judgmental, and empathetic environment for clients to be their most authentic selves so they can begin to grow, change, and heal. Kindness, care, and compassion are at the forefront of the work I do with my clients.

I believe that people are the best experts on their own lives and experiences and I come alongside them in processing through their experiences. Additionally, I believe in the holistic well-being of each client, addressing the mental, physical, and spiritual aspects of their lives so that they can work towards living a healthy and whole life.
