Amber Nagy

I’m Amber Nagy, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Certified Addictions Professional (MCAP), and trauma specialist. Since 2018, I’ve worked in the mental health and addiction field in various clinical roles. I hold a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from St. John’s University and a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University. I’m also a certified breathwork facilitator and have completed extensive training in EMDR, Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT), Gottman Method Level 2 for couples, and other trauma-informed and evidence-based approaches. I specialize in trauma healing, addiction recovery, and family support.

My approach is direct yet compassionate. I believe in being honest and real with clients while also making them feel genuinely welcomed and supported. I aim to create a casual, non-intimidating environment where clients feel comfortable enough to be vulnerable and open. I use evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, RRT, and Solution-Focused Therapy, and integrate breathwork and somatic techniques to support emotional regulation and deeper healing. Whether working with individuals, couples, or families, I tailor sessions to each person’s needs, focusing on connection, curiosity, and meaningful progress.

Clients can expect to leave sessions with practical tools for emotional regulation, increased insight into their personal patterns, and a deeper sense of empowerment. My goal is to help clients build resilience, reconnect with their strengths, and develop meaningful strategies for long-term healing and personal growth. I aim to foster an environment that encourages safety, reflection, and transformation.
