Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Amber Paxton, LPC, a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping adults navigate life's challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and emotional well-being. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change.

I work with adults experiencing the many changes in life, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, self-esteem, and major life transitions. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward. Together, we'll identify the patterns that may be keeping you from living the life you want while developing practical strategies that support lasting growth.

Whether you're working through a difficult season, healing from past experiences, or simply looking to invest in your personal growth, my goal is to help you feel more grounded, resilient, and equipped to navigate whatever comes next. Therapy is a partnership, and I would be honored to support you on your journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your individual needs. I integrate evidence-based techniques with a genuine, nonjudgmental style, creating a space where you can explore difficult emotions, build healthier coping skills, strengthen boundaries, and gain deeper insight into yourself and your abilities. I believe that lasting change happens when clients not only understand their experiences but also leave each session with tools they can apply in everyday life.

What you can expect from me

Our first meeting is a complimentary 15-minute consultation so we can connect and make

sure we are a good fit. If it feels right, we move into a 60-minute intake where we explore

what brings you in and build a personalized plan together, in your own words. You will leave

that first session with a clear direction and a real sense of what is possible.
