Great to meet you!

I am an Integrative Medicine Nurse Practitioner (Family and Psych board-certified) and psychotherapist who uses psychotherapy, eco-expressive arts and somatic practices as my main modality with lifestyle medicine approaches for medical care. I no longer prescribe medication but do work with you in consultative model with your PCP (or other psychiatry provider) related to psych meds and manage your psychiatric care in a holistic manner.

I have worked with eating disorders, body image struggles, weight management, perfectionism, ADHD, giftedness, depression, anxiety, burnout and heightened stress responses in high-achieving professional women, entrepreneurs, athletes and creatives since 2007.

After taking time away from healthcare, I am re-opening my insurance-based practice exclusively for clients with eating disorders and burned-out professionals who need to use insurance because of a psychiatric diagnosis that requires medical care rather than executive coaching. I also offer a cash-based model to clients who want more privacy and a non-diagnostic approach outside of traditional care and insurance management but realize they need a medically-sound, therapeutic steward, not just "coaching."

The clients I have supported, in therapy or in my depth-oriented guide work, always do best when they are as committed to their inner work and self growth as they are to their external achievements. I support you in moving away from solely identifying with your achievement to deeper self-trust, self-compassion to restore your vitality and let you accomplish all you desire without the relentless drive of self criticism or perfectionism.

I am curious to get to know you and I hope my genuine interest and transparency support you in revealing more of you so we can get to the heart of the matter that allows you to both accomplish your worthy goals and feel good in your skin.

My approach to therapy

I believe that psychotherapy is not about extinguishing pathology but helping you explore and tap into the human journey through your unique strengths and struggles. Often high-achievers grapple with existential meaning and purpose when your levels of success and drive are no longer fulfilling . When not explored with care and compassion, many symptoms begin to occur or worsen, leaving most high-achievers feeling frustrated because their typical methods that led to success no longer work. I meet my clients where they are and support them in excavating root-cause health and wellbeing struggles to create sustainable vitality.

What you can expect from me

I hope to get a snapshot of who you are and see if I can help you in your journey based on your sense of strengths, struggles, hopes for our time together, along with a medical history and practical ways I can support your symptom relief along with longer term exploration.
