Great to meet you!

I’m Amber-Rose, a licensed mental health counselor and certified hypnotherapist who believes healing happens through curiosity, courage, and self-connection. I see therapy as a collaborative process where you are the expert on your life, and my role is to help guide, support, and empower you as you reconnect with your sense of safety and self-trust.

I specialize in working with anxiety, trauma, relational wounds, and identity exploration. I also support clients navigating LGBTQIA+ concerns, grief, and the lasting impact of family dysfunction. Clients often describe me as warm, perceptive, and gently challenging in a way that feels supportive rather than overwhelming. Above all, my goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, respected, and accepted exactly as you are.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and tailored to each client’s needs. I blend evidence-based therapies such as trauma-focused CBT and DBT with hypnotherapy, somatic awareness, inner child work, and mindfulness. I believe lasting change happens when we engage both the mind and the body.

Sessions are collaborative and flexible. We may explore how past experiences influence present patterns, practice nervous system regulation, or gently challenge limiting beliefs through guided imagery or hypnotherapy. Whether you’re seeking practical coping tools or deeper emotional processing, I meet you where you are and adjust the work accordingly.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a supportive, low-pressure space to talk about what brought you to therapy and what you’re hoping to change. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable, and there’s no expectation to share more than you’re ready for.

I’ll ask questions to understand your history, current challenges, and goals, and I’ll explain how I work so you know what to expect going forward. Many clients leave the first session feeling grounded, understood, and clearer about next steps. My aim is for you to feel supported, empowered, and confident about continuing the work together.
