Great to meet you!

When you or your child are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or challenges in relationships and family life, it can be difficult to know where to turn. You may be feeling overwhelmed by stress, working through painful experiences, or adjusting to a major life transition. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I support children, adolescents, women, and families through these challenges in a warm, compassionate, and judgment-free space. I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported as they work toward emotional well-being. My goal is to help you better understand your experiences, recognize your strengths, and develop practical tools that empower you to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence. Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, I’ll meet you where you are and work alongside you toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I believe meaningful healing begins with trust, compassion, and an approach that honors your unique experiences and needs. My therapeutic style is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I have a Certificate in Adoption Competency Training and specialized training in MATCH-ADTC (Modular Approach to Therapy for Children with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, or Conduct Problems). I draw from Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help clients process difficult experiences, develop coping skills, and work through the effects of trauma. I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help identify unhelpful thought patterns and build healthier ways of responding to emotions and everyday challenges. Our work will be tailored to your needs, strengths, and goals, with an emphasis on developing practical strategies you can use outside of sessions. I take time to build a trusting therapeutic relationship at a pace that feels comfortable for you, offering support through difficult moments while encouraging growth when you feel ready. You never have to share more than you’re comfortable with, and we’ll work together to create a space where healing can happen at your own pace.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation of trust. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’re hoping to work on, and what you would like to gain from our time together. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out or to share anything before you feel ready. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable while identifying initial goals and exploring what support may be most helpful. If you’re a parent seeking therapy for your child, we’ll also discuss your child’s experiences, needs, and goals so we can work toward a plan that supports their growth. As we continue, sessions may include processing difficult experiences, understanding emotions, strengthening coping skills, and practicing new ways to manage everyday challenges. We’ll check in on your progress and adjust our approach as your needs evolve. Most importantly, I want you to leave sessions feeling heard, supported, and more confident in the steps you’re taking. You don’t have to navigate these challenges alone—we can work through them together, one step at a time.
