Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 6 years of practice in community mental health centers. I am a clinician, a clinical supervisor and an advisor for interns. I obtained my Masters in Social Work degree at Adelphi University in May of 2019. I have felt confident in my work with various client populations such as adults, seniors, adolescents, couples and families. I use clinical approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, psychoeducation, strengths-based approach, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, solution-focused therapy, couple's and family therapy.

My approach to therapy

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming. My goal for every therapy session is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered. I work with individuals on navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, trauma, grief and stress. I am able to provide couple's therapy to assist with navigating communication, conflict and relationship patterns.

What you can expect from me

During your first session with me, you can expect to have a warm, open-minded and collaborative discussion about your challenges, goals and ways that I can be supportive. My approach is to assist you in developing new skills and gaining insight about yourself to develop meaningful changes and to improve your overall well-being.
