Great to meet you!

It is said that life is more about the journey rather than the destination. My goal is to help you navigate life’s toughest challenges and transitions. With nearly 20 years of experience balancing a military career with a civilian mental health counseling and sexual assault advocacy focused career, I understand what it means to carry a heavy load. Whether you are dealing with past trauma, feeling "stuck," needing to develop new patterns of thinking or behaviors, or looking for a professional who truly understands the unique culture of service, I am here to provide support and walk alongside you on your journey.

My approach to therapy

My background is rooted in practical skills of CBT and DBT. The last 8 years I spent in the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response program, combined with my personal journey, taught me the critical importance of body-based approaches. I have expanded my practice to include EMDR to heal the deeper patterns that hold you back from being your best self.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be a lot of information gathering so I can get a sense of your life experiences and your goals. It's also an opportunity for you to get to know me as we collaborate on treatment style and strategy.
