Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can be overwhelming, whether for the first time ever or the first time in a while. Many of us have been shamed and dismissed for what we had to do to survive, even in therapy. My goal is to help you understand what your past taught you, and how you may be carrying these lessons in a way that no longer benefits you.

I am a licensed mental health counselor and have worked in residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient settings for individuals with eating disorders and co-occuring conditions, such as trauma/PTSD, substance misuse, self-harm, and mood disorders.

I work with teens and adults navigating disordered eating, complex trauma, body image judgment, codependency, abandonment fears, relationship distress, self-harm behaviors, depression, and anxiety. I see clients in person in Coconut Creek, FL and offer telehealth services for clients located anywhere in the state of Florida.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy as a process of learning to connect with yourself and accepting your imperfect-ness. This comes with reconnecting with other people, with your emotions, and gradually, with your own body.

What you can expect from me

That idea of reconnection may be terrifying right now. You may have lived in a state of disconnection as a way to survive and it may still feel like it's "working". My goal is to help you find meaning and safety in connection gradually and at your own pace. Our first session will involve you telling me what you're hoping to get out of therapy and us coming up with a plan to work towards this together.
