Great to meet you!

Welcome! Whether you're looking for support for yourself or your child, I know that taking the first step toward mental health care can feel overwhelming.

I’m a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and a parent, and I provide secure telehealth care for children ages 6 and older, adolescents, adults, and older adults throughout Colorado. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Colorado State University Pueblo, my Master of Science in Nursing Education from Western Governors University, and a Post-Master’s Certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management for concerns including ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma-related disorders, and other emotional and behavioral challenges. I feel honored to support individuals and families as they work toward feeling more confident, supported, and hopeful.

My approach to therapy

I believe the best care begins with listening and taking the time to understand your story, concerns, questions, strengths, and goals. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and grounded in evidence, with a focus on the whole person and not only their symptoms. Together, we’ll create a treatment plan that fits your daily life and may include medication, lifestyle changes, coordination with therapy, or a combination of supports. When I work with children and adolescents, I see parents and caregivers as important partners and value open communication throughout the process.

What you can expect from me

From your first visit, I’ll work to create a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you or your child can feel comfortable being heard. We’ll talk about what brings you to care, your mental health history, current symptoms, physical health, relationships, daily life, and personal goals, and I’ll make sure you have time to ask questions. We’ll then discuss my recommendations and develop a practical, individualized plan together, at a pace that feels manageable. Welcome! Whether you’re looking for support for yourself or your child, I know that taking the first step toward mental health care can feel overwhelming.
