Great to meet you!
Hi, I'm Amber Waddleton, LPCC.
Reaching out for therapy takes courage, and my goal is to provide a welcoming, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted. I believe that healing happens through genuine connection, collaboration, and building on the strengths you already possess.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, stress, self-esteem concerns, and emotional or behavioral challenges. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, navigating a difficult life event, or simply looking for support and personal growth, we'll work together to identify your goals and develop practical strategies that fit your life.
My approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and evidence-based. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques. When appropriate, I also incorporate expressive interventions, including art-based activities, to help clients process emotions and communicate experiences that may be difficult to put into words.
As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Clinical Director, I am committed to creating a safe, culturally responsive, and judgment-free environment where clients feel empowered to make meaningful and lasting change. Every person's journey is unique, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and move toward the life they want to live.
If you're ready to begin your healing journey, I'd be honored to support you every step of the way.
