Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Amber! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience supporting children, teens, adults, and families through life’s challenges. I believe therapy is a safe space to feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your needs. I draw from evidence-based practices while keeping sessions supportive and practical. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, life transitions, parenting, trauma, or relationship challenges, I’m here to walk alongside you with care and curiosity.

In addition to my clinical work, I have a background as a school social worker, which has given me a deep understanding of family dynamics, child development, and the stressors that impact both kids and parents. I’m passionate about helping people build healthy coping strategies, strengthen communication, and reconnect with themselves and others.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling and reading.

My goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel supported and begin to make meaningful changes in your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client-centered, trauma-informed, and empowerment-based. I believe that each person has unique strengths and the capacity for growth, and I work collaboratively to help you uncover those strengths and use them to create meaningful change.

In sessions, I create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. I often use talk therapy as a foundation, while integrating evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). These approaches can be tailored to your needs—whether that’s building coping skills, processing past experiences, or learning new ways to navigate challenges.

At the core of my work is the belief that healing happens when you feel seen, understood, and empowered. Together, we’ll focus not only on reducing distress but also on building resilience, self-awareness, and lasting tools for growth.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you can expect a safe, nonjudgmental space where authenticity and openness are valued. I strive to create a warm, supportive environment that feels both relatable and grounding, so you can show up exactly as you are.

My goal is for you to leave therapy feeling heard, understood, and empowered with tools that support your healing and growth. Together, we’ll focus on building insight, strengthening coping skills, and creating lasting changes that help you move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
