Great to meet you!

I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Utah and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Utah. My clinical background includes geriatric psychiatry, adult partial hospitalization, hospital-based behavioral health, chronic care management, and medical-behavioral health integration.

My approach to therapy

Rather than believing there is one approach that works for everyone, I tailor therapy to your needs, goals, personality, and circumstances. Depending on what brings you to therapy, our work may focus on managing difficult emotions, changing unhelpful thought patterns, processing past experiences, strengthening coping skills, navigating grief or life transitions, or developing a greater sense of meaning and purpose.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, particularly if you have been carrying something on your own for a long time. I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is respectful, genuine, and supportive while also helping you make meaningful progress.

Our work will begin with understanding what brings you to therapy and what you hope will be different. From there, we can develop goals together and identify the strategies and therapeutic approaches that best fit your needs.

You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We can start wherever you are.
