Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Amber! If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from yourself, I'm so glad you've found my profile. I work with adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, chronic illness, codependency, relationship challenges, substance use and addiction, ADHD, family issues, general stress and so much more.

Many of my clients are carrying more than they let on. Maybe anxiety and depression have been feeding each other for a long time, or a chronic illness is wearing you down and your mood is taking the hit. These pieces are more connected than most people realize, and I'll help you see how they fit together. Others come in struggling with life transitions, relationship patterns, self-esteem, or the lingering impact of past experiences. Wherever you're starting, I'm here to meet you in it.

My approach to therapy

My style is empowering, open-minded, and holistic. One of my greatest strengths is balancing compassion with honesty. I believe real growth happens when you feel both supported and challenged. I'm warm, authentic, and collaborative, but I'm not a therapist who simply tells you what you want to hear. Every journey looks different, and I'd be honored to be part of yours!

I draw primarily on CBT and Motivational Interviewing to help you make sense of past and present concerns and move toward a healthier, more fulfilled future. In plain terms, we'll look at how your thoughts, feelings, and habits connect, and build tools that actually work in your daily life.

If addiction or codependency is part of your story, I bring in codependency-focused work and strength-based approaches, building on what's already working rather than starting from scratch. I also use mindfulness-based and solution-focused tools, and Christian counseling when that matters to you. We'll look at the whole picture of who you are, including your mind, your body, and your relationships.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation, not a checklist. I want to understand your story, why you decided to seek therapy, and just as importantly, why now. There's no pressure to have it all figured out.

You can expect unconditional care and a space where you won't be judged for where you are right now. My goal is to help you build practical tools for the present while laying a solid foundation for the future, and to take that journey alongside you, wherever it leads.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, managing stress, struggling in your relationships, working through addiction, or simply trying to reconnect with yourself, I'm here to meet you in it. I believe this journey looks different for everyone — and I look forward to being a part of your unique road to healing.
