Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and see clients throughout the state via virtual therapy. I received my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Amberton University and also hold a Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy. I have experience working with a diverse client population encompassing care for a variety of mental health concerns. I strive to provide a safe space for my clients in order to build a strong, therapeutic relationship that allows for growth.

My approach to therapy

As a clinician, I rely upon Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Through the therapeutic process, clients are taught skills that give them the tools to identify and dispute irrational beliefs that have been acquired and self-constructed and are now maintained by self-indoctrination. During sessions, I will assist you as we explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while also fostering self-compassion, emotional regulation, and communication techniques for living a purpose driven lifestyle.

What you can expect from me

Together we will work to achieve the best possible results for you. Often growth cannot occur until you experience and confront issues that induce feelings of sadness, sorrow, anxiety, or pain. The success of our work together depends on the quality of efforts on both our parts and the realization that you are responsible for lifestyle choices/changes that may result from therapy. I encourage you to stay the course because you are worth it!
