Great to meet you!

For deep feelers who are empathic, intuitive, or sensitive, emotional intensity can sometimes feel overwhelming or hard to manage.

You may be someone who picks up on everything in a room, overthinks relationships, or finds it hard to separate your own emotions from others’. You might give a lot of grace to others but be extra hard on yourself. You might describe yourself as an empath, a sensitive person, or someone who has spent much of life people-pleasing, over-functioning, or holding it all together on the outside while feeling exhausted internally.

Often there is a history of anxiety, relational trauma, or experiences where you learned to stay attuned to others’ needs in order to feel safe or connected. Even if things look “fine” on the outside, internally there may be a sense of emotional overload, disconnection from self, or difficulty expressing yourself.

My work is about helping you come back into relationship with yourself so you can feel more grounded in your body, clearer in your boundaries, and have greater self-compassion.

My approach to therapy

In our work together, we slow things down so you can begin to notice your internal experience, not just intellectually, but emotionally and in the body.

I integrate somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems (parts work), mindfulness-based approaches, and experiential tools like guided imagery meditations or creative expression when helpful. For clients who resonate with it, I also bring in a deeper mind-body-spirit perspective to support meaning-making and connection to self.

Rather than focusing only on symptom management, we also explore the patterns underneath, like people-pleasing, childhood trauma, emotional overwhelm, anxiety, or difficulty setting boundaries, and how your nervous system learned to adapt.

The goal is not to “fix” you, but to help your system feel safer, more grounded, and more connected to who you already are beneath survival patterns.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on understanding what is bringing you in and what feels most present in your life right now. You do not need to prepare anything or have the right words. We start exactly where you are.

We move at a pace that works for you as we begin getting a sense of your internal experience and what has been weighing on you.

There is space for questions, reflection, and beginning to understand what you might need from therapy moving forward.

By the end of the session, we will begin shaping a sense of direction for our work together.
