Great to meet you!

Hi my name is Ame (pronounced Amy), and as a highly sensitive person myself, I provide a non-judgmental, supportive yet direct approach. As a licensed clinical social worker I also completed post masters academic training in Gestalt therapy. I specialize in working with bi-poc, Asian Americans, second-generation individuals, working professionals, and creatives.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe we all come into this world as whole, healthy beings. The traumas we experience interrupt our whole self, causing us to develop coping patterns to deal with these issues. In our therapeutic work together, I draw from somatic awareness, parts work, relational therapy, and experiential exercises. My focus areas include anxiety, depression, mood disorders, life transitions, career, identity, spirituality, intergenerational trauma, and cultural issues.

What you can expect from our first session

I aim to create a safe space, or sanctuary, to allow yourself to be seen and heard. We will work collaboratively while I support you in being the driver of your growth, whether it be in healing from early traumas, unblocking relational patterns, or identifying your purpose.
