Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults experiencing anxiety, burnout, trauma, substance use, and major life transitions. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in finance, so I understand what it is like to function in high pressure environments while something underneath is asking for attention. I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have additional training in EMDR. I’m especially drawn to working with people who want to understand themselves more deeply, not just find another way to push through.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded, direct, and curious. I’m interested in what is underneath the symptoms, including the patterns, experiences, beliefs, and ways of relating to yourself that may be keeping you stuck. I draw from EMDR, mindfulness, somatic work, DBT, and experiential approaches depending on what you need. Therapy with me is collaborative and active, and I will offer observations, ask questions, and help you make connections that may be difficult to see on your own.

What you can expect from me

The first session is mostly about getting to know you and understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what is happening now, what you would like to be different, and some of the experiences or patterns that may have shaped where you are today. You do not need to come in knowing exactly what you want to work on or how to explain it. My goal is to create enough space for us to be curious about what is happening and begin figuring out together where we want to go.
