Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Amelia and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with more than nine years of experience supporting individuals, women, young adults, and families navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, parental stress, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions.

I also have a growing professional interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals and families, which has been shaped by both personal experience and additional clinical training focused on autism and neurodivergence. I understand how overwhelming it can feel to navigate emotional stress, caregiving, identity, relationships, and the ongoing recalibration often needed to maintain the steadiness within ourselves, our relationships and the evolving needs of our family system.

I currently provide virtual therapy for clients located in Florida.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, reflective, relational, and strengths-based. Many of the clients I work with have spent so much time caring for others or managing life's demands that they have become disconnected from their own needs, emotions, and sense of balance.

I view therapy as an active and collaborative process. Together, we begin by getting to know you - not just the challenges bringing you to therapy, but also your strengths, values, relationships and the ways you have learned to navigate life up to this point. While I provide guidance, support, perspective, and tools throughout therapy, meaningful change often begins with a client's openness, curiosity, and willingness to build a life that feels more balanced, sustainable, and aligned with who they are.

What you can expect from me

If you decide to consider me as your therapist, you can expect a supportive space where you do not need to have everything figured out before beginning your therapeutic journey. Some clients begin therapy with clear goals they would like to work toward, while others may simply know that something no longer feels right. Both are completely okay.

My goal is for clients to leave sessions feeling heard, more connected to themselves, and better equipped to move forward with greater clarity, confidence and emotional balance.
