Great to meet you!

I am a queer, licensed therapist practicing in Brooklyn, New York. I have worked with adults seeking support around sexuality, gender, anxiety, depression, PTSD, HIV, substance use, eating disorders, and stress. I am interested in working with folks who identify as LGBTQIA+ and who are involved in the performing arts. In addition to being a therapist, I have nurtured a life-long passion for both theater and dance. I am in the process of getting certified in EMDR.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from from harm reduction, relational, and trauma-informed treatment theories, and as well as EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), to support my clients in reaching their goals.

What you can expect from our first session

Our relationships, particularly those in our early childhood, form the basis for how we feel about ourselves, others, and the world around us. Many of us hold pain from past relational traumas that impacts how we think, feel, and act. Healing happens when we form safe, supportive relationships. As a therapist, I aim to provide corrective emotional experiences, trauma-focused interventions like EMDR, and coping tools and skills so my clients can move through that pain, work towards their goals, and live happy and healthy lives.
