Great to meet you!

I have a PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Miami, completed my internship at Yale School of Medicine and my fellowship at CHA/Harvard Medical School. I have worked as faculty at UMASS and Northwestern Schools of Medicine. I have specialized training in health psychology including cancer, autoimmune disease, GI disease, infertility, third party reproduction, pregnancy loss, peripartum mental health, adjustment to parenting. I help with anxiety, depression, ADHD and burnout.

My approach to therapy

I help people recognize patterns that no longer help them, cultivate self-compassion and learn new skills and strategies to create lasting change. I support people to identify their values and what is really important in their lives so they can feel confident in their decisions even while navigating difficult life circumstances. I have a warm, compassionate and direct approach and use evidence-based methods (CBT, REBT, ACT, mindfulness).

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to felt heard and understood, learn new skills and strategies and reflect on patterns in thinking and behavior. I encourage patients to examine their beliefs and behaviors to help them work towards living their life according to their values.
