Great to meet you!

I am a Depth Psychotherapist and I am interested in promoting Holistic care of Mind, Body and Spirit connection. I have 12 years in private practice. I bring a deep understanding and expertise to my work as a licensed Mental Health Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor. Holding a Ph.d in Depth Psychotherapy with an emphasis in Psychoanalysis from Pacifica Graduate (2016). My dissertation "Healing Shadow - Sexual Dysfunction after the Dismemberment of a Breast informs my work with breast cancer patients. My educational foundation includes a Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology from Rollins College (2006) and a Master's of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Barry University (2009). As a trauma-informed care therapist, I specialize in treating patients with complex PTSD, compassion fatigue and burnout, particularly among healthcare workers. My practice also focuses on supporting individuals with various mental health diagnosis, leading grief groups and guiding clients in integrating wellness and self-care into their daily routines. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore their depths, foster healing and cultivate resilience. I provide the sacred space necessary to help patients heal, give voice to their narratives and interpretations of their human experience.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is where I seek to understand my clients and their story. I see all of them Body, Mind and Spirit. I like to encourage them to understand how their thinking may be affecting their behaviors, and the way they respond to different situations in their life.

What you can expect from me

My clients can expect a warm, welcoming environment where all emotions are welcome without judgement. It is a safe space where they can work through whatever difficult situation they are dealing with. Your therapy session is a collaboration where you will feel listened to as you tell your story. At times you will feel challenged, especially as you try to implement new behaviors and change your thinking around past conditioning.
