Great to meet you!

From the outside, you may appear strong, successful, capable, and dependable. People rely on you at work, at home, in ministry, and in your relationships. Yet internally, you may be carrying anxiety, stress, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, or the emotional exhaustion that comes from always being the one holding everything together.

I work with women, couples, and high-functioning individuals who are navigating difficult seasons and want greater clarity, emotional wellness, and healthier ways to cope, connect, and move forward. Together, we work to build insight, strengthen relationships, and create lasting change.

With more than 20 years of experience in counseling, leadership, and helping professions, I strive to create a supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. My goal is to help you identify what is keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and move toward the life and relationships you desire.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I help clients navigate anxiety, burnout, relationship struggles, grief, life transitions, and unresolved trauma. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, mindfulness practices, and relationship-focused interventions, I help clients identify patterns, improve emotional awareness, strengthen communication, and create meaningful change.

I believe therapy should provide both support and practical tools. Together, we will explore the experiences, beliefs, and relationship dynamics that may be contributing to current challenges while developing healthier ways to cope, connect, and move forward. My goal is to help you gain insight, build resilience, and create lasting change that extends beyond the therapy session.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to begin understanding your story. We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope to gain from the counseling process. I'll ask questions about your relationships, life experiences, strengths, and current stressors to better understand your unique situation.

Most importantly, you can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you don't have to carry everything alone. Together, we'll identify initial goals, discuss what support may be most helpful, and begin creating a plan that aligns with your needs and values. Many clients leave the first session feeling relieved, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead.
