Great to meet you!

As a therapist, I am deeply committed to understanding your needs, strengths, and life experiences which have shaped who you are today. I value fostering an environment in which trust can be founded upon creating a safe, warm, nonjudgmental and collaborative therapeutic relationship. Together, we will develop coping skills and strategies to help you feel empowered to effectively manage your life concerns. You can expect that I will regularly seek your feedback and input during our journey together as I strongly believe you are the expert in knowing yourself best.

My approach to therapy

Utilizing a multicultural and trauma informed approach, I tailor treatment and interventions based on each client's needs. I am also trained in mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization,Reprocessing (EMDR) which specifically targets decreasing symptoms of trauma, depression, anxiety, and stress.

I have a passion for working with college students and previously worked at the Counseling and Psychological Services at the Upenn. I am flexible and offer evening and weekend appointments. I encourage you to call me to schedule a phone consultation, and then decide if I am right for you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about helping you feel comfortable, supported, and understood. We’ll begin by getting to know each other and creating a space where you can speak openly at your own pace. I’ll walk you through what therapy looks like with me, answer any questions you may have, and make sure the process feels clear and approachable.

During this initial session, we’ll start gathering information about your history, mental health, and life experiences. This helps me understand what you’ve been navigating and what support might be most helpful for you. Together, we’ll begin shaping a treatment plan that includes meaningful goals and a shared vision for how we’ll work together.

My aim is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, respected, and hopeful about the path ahead.
