Great to meet you!

Hi, I am Amia Hines, LPC

I specialize in helping individuals uncover the core wounds and beliefs that often stem from childhood experiences and ongoing life challenges. Together, we’ll explore how those patterns show up today and begin healing through empowerment, tackling barriers, self-awareness, and creating meaningful choices. My approach is warm, collaborative, and insight-driven. Supporting you in navigating life with greater confidence, self-fulfillment, and long-term satisfaction.

My approach to therapy

I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients from underserved or marginalized backgrounds can explore the roots of their emotional pain, often tied to childhood, identity, or family dynamics. I help clients name and understand their core wounds and beliefs, then guide them toward healing through empowerment, boundary-setting, and creating new narratives.

My work integrates psychodynamic exploration (getting to the “why”), DBT and somatic tools (for regulation and self-trust).

I am intuitive, honest, and compassionate. I gently challenge clients when needed, while always centering your agency and values.

What you can expect from me

In our work together, you can expect a space where your story is seen, your emotions are honored, and your voice is reclaimed. I help clients explore the root of their struggles and support you in building self-trust, emotional clarity, and tools for lasting change. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in empowerment.
