Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Amie Moore, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas. I work with children, teens, and young adults, with a focus on supporting young people through life transitions, relationships, and emotional challenges. I have experience working in outpatient settings alongside families and care teams, supporting clients with a range of emotional and behavioral needs. I also work with clients who have experienced trauma and are navigating its impact. My approach is person-centered, warm, and collaborative, and I strive to create a space where you can show up as you are without judgment.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and focused on real connection. In sessions, I tend to be reflective and curious, helping you make sense of your thoughts, emotions, and patterns. I’ll also bring in practical tools when it’s helpful, especially for things like anxiety, emotional regulation, and relationships. My work is influenced by person-centered, attachment-focused, and trauma-informed approaches. Overall, I’ll meet you where you are and move at a pace that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s been going on, what brought you to therapy, and what you’re hoping for—no pressure to have it all figured out. I’ll guide the conversation and go over things like confidentiality and how sessions work. You’re always welcome to ask questions along the way. Most importantly, this is a space to see if it feels like a good fit.
