Great to meet you!

What you are carrying may not be something every therapist would understand. I work with adolescents, adults, and seniors in BIPOC communities, with particular depth in anxiety, trauma, domestic violence, PTSD, and the specific pressures many women face in navigating family, culture, and identity. I offer sessions in both English and Urdu, and for those who want it, I weave cultural and faith context naturally into the work.

My approach to therapy

My approach is strengths based and grounded in a social work lens, meaning I see you within the full context of your relationships, your culture, and your environment rather than just through the lens of symptoms. We work at a pace that honors your readiness and nervous system, with our focus on building toward something more meaningful rather than only managing what is difficult. I also offer couples and premarital counseling for partners who want to strengthen their communication and build a solid foundation together. I tend to do my best work with people who have not quite found the right fit elsewhere.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we clarify what brought you in and set a few concrete goals. I want to hear your story and understand what matters most to you before we decide where to focus. If you are looking for someone who speaks your language, literally and in the ways that count, I would love to connect.
