Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should be a place where you can be honest about what's going on in your life without feeling like you need to have all the answers. I'm interested in what makes people who they are, the experiences that shape us, and how we find meaning in the things we go through. Sometimes a song lyric can put words to something you've been feeling for years, and I think there's room for those kinds of discoveries in therapy. My experience includes working with typically developing children, older adults, and individuals with intellectual disabilities. I work with children and teens, older adults, and members of faith communities of all ages, tailoring my approach to each person's unique experiences and needs. You don't need to know exactly what you want to work on or where to begin. We can figure that out together.

My approach to therapy

I utilize evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). In our sessions, we may use these approaches to explore patterns, develop practical tools, and better understand how past experiences, identity, and spirituality shape your life. I work collaboratively with children and adults, tailoring treatment to each person's needs, drawing on research while making room for individual values and perspectives. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you can build on your strengths, gain self-understanding, and work toward meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity to get to know each other, talk about what brings you to therapy, and discuss what you'd like to get out of it. We'll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you and your child, and take the first step towards setting goals and mapping out a plan for our work together.
