Great to meet you!

It is an absolute privilege to help individuals establish a safe, empowering baseline for care where they can truly be themselves. With a background in medicine and a passion for mental health, I provide a warm, supportive, and collaborative space where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered. I believe therapy is not just about talking through challenges, it is about gaining clarity, creating meaningful change, and moving toward a more fulfilling life. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, mood-related concerns, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. My focus is primarily on women’s mental health, including perinatal and postpartum mental health, infertility-related stress, burnout, and the emotional challenges of balancing career, relationships, motherhood, cultural expectations, and personal well-being. I also support women who are striving to create a healthier balance between their professional and personal lives. As someone of South Asian descent, I understand the unique challenges that can come with navigating cultural differences, family dynamics, identity, and generational expectations. I strive to create a warm, genuine, and nonjudgmental space where we can work together to build coping skills, increase self-awareness, and help you regain a sense of balance, direction, and control in your life.

My approach to therapy

By balancing evidence-based practices with deep personal connection, we can foster genuine emotional growth. I show up in therapy in a warm, genuine, and approachable way, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and supported. I believe therapy works best as a collaborative process, where we can openly explore what you’re going through, make sense of patterns that may feel stuck, and move at a pace that feels right for you. I use a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy informed approach, along with solution-focused techniques, depending on your needs. This includes working on unhelpful thought patterns, building emotional regulation skills, strengthening coping strategies, and finding practical tools that support you in managing day-to-day stress and life challenges. Together, we will outline tangible goals to ensure our work translates into lasting and meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to help you feel comfortable, supported, and heard from the beginning. I strive to cultivate a calm environment that allows you to step away from daily stress and feel safe sharing your story. Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another, explore what brings you to therapy, discuss your concerns, and better understand your experiences, needs, and goals. We will use this initial hour to explore your history, symptoms, and client-centered goals at a natural, comfortable pace without any pressure. We will also talk about what you hope to gain from therapy and begin creating a collaborative path forward that feels meaningful and realistic for you. Above all, my goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and supported with the sense that you no longer have to navigate things alone.
