Amrita Murgasen

As the CEO and Clinical Director of Empower Wellness, I am dedicated to helping individuals bloom into their best selves. I hold a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. With extensive experience in inpatient, outpatient, and private practice settings, I am well-equipped to guide clients through various mental health challenges.

My therapy approach centers on creating a welcoming and judgment-free space. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, I empower clients to take charge of their mental health. I assign homework to reinforce strategies discussed in sessions, helping clients to bloom outside our time together. I see clients with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, ADD/ADHD, and also provide Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, fostering an environment for growth and resilience.

Creating a space where clients feel comfortable and understood is a core value at Empower Wellness. I strive to build a warm, non-judgmental atmosphere that welcomes all individuals, regardless of their background. By being open to different personalities and cultures, and eager to learn about personal or family values, I aim to empower clients to share openly and embark on a path where they can truly bloom.
