Great to meet you!

Hola, and welcome. I’m Amy Aracena, a bilingual Latina Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in NJ and NY. Life can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face it alone. I provide a safe, supportive space where you or your child can feel heard, understood, and empowered. With over 20 years of experience across schools, community mental health, and private practice, I offer culturally responsive care in English and Spanish. I also support parents experiencing anxiety as they raise children with ASD and ADHD, helping families build confidence, understanding, and practical coping skills.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and compassionate. I draw on evidence-based practices such as CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, ACT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness, but most importantly, I tailor our work to you. Together, we’ll build practical tools to help you manage stress, heal from past experiences, and create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

I take time to truly understand your story and your goals. Together, we’ll identify patterns, strengthen boundaries, and develop strategies to navigate triggers and regulate emotions so you can feel more in control, confident, and grounded in your daily life. If you're ready to start, I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
