Great to meet you!

I specialize in supporting adults (ages 18 and older) as they navigate the unique pressures of adulthood, academic life, and major life transitions. Whether you are dealing with persistent worry, feeling stuck, or simply trying to find your footing in a new chapter of life, we will work together to build practical tools and resilience.

I currently practice at a health clinic, where I help adults find balance amidst high-stakes environments. Prior to this, I spent years working in community mental health, which gave me deep experience helping individuals from all walks of life navigate complex, real-world crises and long-term mental health challenges. I hold active licenses in two states — Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois and Licensed Professional Counselor in Wisconsin - allowing me to support clients across state lines.

My clients often describe me as genuine, direct, and warm. I bring a healthy sense of humor to my practice because, let's be honest, sometimes a little laughter is the best way to break through the heavy stuff.

My approach to therapy

There is no one-size-fits-all in therapy. I pull from a variety of evidence-based frameworks to tailor our sessions to what you actually need in the moment:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy — identifying and reframing patterns of thinking and behaving that keep you stuck

Dialectical Behavior Therapy — building concrete skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal mindfulness

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy — learning to accept difficult emotions so you can focus your energy on living a value-driven life

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy — targeting immediate, actionable goals to help you see progress quickly

What you can expect from me

I believe therapy should be a collaborative, down-to-earth space where you feel genuinely heard. Our first session is about getting to know you - where you are, what's bringing you in, and what you're hoping to get out of our work together. There's no pressure to have everything figured out. I look forward to meeting you wherever you are on your journey!
