Great to meet you!

I have over 20 years in the field of behavioral health and substance use treatment. I have specialty focuses with LGBTQIA community, gambling addiction treatment, and relapse prevention. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Certified Advanced Addictions and Drug Counselor (CAADC) that has worked with both adults and adolescents in my tenure.

I believe that change can happen for anyone with a desire to change, a belief that they can change, and a plan. I provide an empowering approach combined with encouraging support to help guide you to live the life you want to live whether its changing your current behavioral processes or working through a challenging time in your life. Working with me you will receive transparency, support, respect and kindness.

My approach to therapy

I work alongside clients as an informed guide to help them identify solutions by providing feedback, suggestions and encouraging insight and self-awareness. My goal is to help people find a path that is right for them that honors their values, beliefs, and culture. I encourage, empower, and believe in a person's right to make an informed decision for themselves.

What you can expect from me

The first session will be me asking questions to get a thorough understanding of the identified concern. We will collaborate to identify agreed upon goals for our time together and steps to take to reach those goals. We will work together to plan both the path and the pace that works best to support where you want to go and the life you want to live.
